Lionel broadcasted for ABC (American Broadcasting Company – USA), BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation – UK), and CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation – Canada). Between 1973 and 1998 he produced thousands of reports on Cuban life and events. Many of these recordings can be found here, some with a written transcript in digital form. The original casette tape recordings can be accessed at the Hennessy Collection, the Cuban archive at the University of Nottingham, UK that is part of the Centre for Research on Cuba/Cuba Research Forum.
